Position: Project Manager

Job Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt

Department: Project Management

Reports to: Lead Project Manager

 

Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall teams and project items for new business or customer upgrades for the company. This position will develop and manage multiple, concurrent project plan schedules while monitoring projects daily to track progress against the work plan schedules. This position also identifies any risks and communicates those out to internal and external teams and follows up on issues throughout the implementation of the project.

 Experience/Degree Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or related field
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Prior experience managing people or processes
  • Certifications in Project Management, Product Development Life Cycle, or Process Management

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall project management process
  • Develop project plans and manage multiple, concurrent plans
  • Hold regular status meetings and document project status
  • Complete and submit internal and external status reports
  • Notify team members of their deliverables and due dates
  • Proactively communicate information needed by team members to complete their tasks
  • Participate in customer meetings
  • Identify, document, and track issues, risks, and dependencies
  • Seek out, implement, and document problem resolutions
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Follow up on open issues and actions items to ensure they are resolved
  • Ensure that Egemin leadership has a comprehensive understanding of projects, timelines, dependencies, etc.
  • Support business development efforts, as requested
  • Any other duties assigned by the company

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects concurrently
  • Ability to understand information quickly, derive insight, synthesize information clearly and concisely, and devise solutions
  • Inclination to take initiative, set strategic priorities, take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives, and independently drive for results
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and implement business strategies and processes
  • Demonstrated self-confidence, honesty and integrity

Knowledge/Skills Preferred:

  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization in and outside of the company
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office and ERP systems
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Travel:

  • As business needs require. Typically up to 30%
